Sad News...Still Trudging Through

Mother's Day will now be a hard day for me, this Mother's Day I received heavy news. My mother went to Urgent Care because she had been sick for a week. The doctor's were treating her pneumonia, but they realized she didn't have enough blood. I didn't understand what that meant. While everyone else was concern with the pneumonia, I was still puzzled by the missing blood. How are you missing blood when you don't see yourself bleeding? I thought maybe it was internal, surgery would fix it. We got the diagnosis the next day, it was leukemia. It is a rare form of leukemia called Plasma Cell Leukemia. I still don't understand it so I won't try and explain it.
